Rick Possumato is the Vice President of Business Development coordinating all sales and marketing efforts. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, working in that field for eight years as both a corporate accountant and as an IRS auditor that investigated large corporations to ensure federal tax compliance. Rick is also a certified paralegal and a former owner of a trade bindery that catered to quick-print and commercial print shops. With this unique background Rick knows how confidential information needs to flow through an organization, from inception and retention to destruction. John Manzi is the Vice President of Operations overseeing all aspects of operations including customer service, scheduling, fleet maintenance and environmental controls. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a strong background in both environmental engineering and project management. Last year John’s unwavering pursuit of perfection resulted in just four hours of lost road time for IntelliShred trucks. Our History
Rick and John became business partners in 1999 when they started a document shredding company called MobileShred. Over the next four years they used their business expertise to grow annual sales of this startup from zero to well over $1,000,000. This phenomenal growth rate attracted the attention of a large national shredding company, which made an offer that was too good to pass up. Rick and John could sell MobileShred as long as they agreed to stay on and run that branch of the company as General Manager and Operations Director.
Once again Rick and John proved they knew how to please customers and grow a document destruction company. With customer satisfaction scores that ranked in the top 5% company-wide, they repeated their dramatic sales growth, making their paper shredding company branch one of the first multi-million dollar locations.
Now Rick and John have returned to their roots as independent operators with IntelliShred, the next generation document destruction/security company.
